28 year old man in the Netherlands arrested for selling suicide drugs

Today Dutch news agencies report that a Dutch man (age 28) was arrested yesterday in the city of Eindhoven. The investigation against him had already been running for a while. He was reportedly selling one or more suicide drugs and one or more drugs which prevent vomitting and which should only be available under prescription. The man is not a medical doctor nor is he a pharmasist. It is unknown at this time to how many people he sold these drugs. He is possibly being charged with assisted suicide and certainly with violating the law on medication and money laudering (he was living off the money he made by selling these drugs). The news also reports that multiple of his clients did indeed commit suicide. It's not known at tjis time for how long the man has been selling these drugs.

I myself am also a 28 year old Dutch man living in the Netherlands so I can't help but wonder if I've chatted with him. It would make perfect sense if he used to be active on this webforum, and surely this forum and his posts and messages will be part of the investigation. I myself did not buy drugs from him but maybe others here have.

Aw man, if those charges stick I can imagine he's going to jail for a very long time. You're Dutch too, do you have a rough estimate at how fucked he is?

I don't have his name. The news doesn't tell which drug(s) he was selling but since he was able to live of the money he made the main drug he was selling was mostly likely expensive such as what this forum calls N.

I am not certain what kind of sentence he can expect but in the Netherlands we don't convict any humans to ridiculous sentences, because we don't trial by jury like in common law, we trial based on statues (civic law) and tjose statues were formulated by experts on sociology and human behavior.
A few years jail maybe, mostly because he sold to multiple people and did indeed cause deaths and did also make profit off it. It makes a difference whether he knew the buysers well and how closely he was in contact with them, and if he did it to make a living or because he felt it was the right thing to do.

There has been a news update with new information. He has 6 clients who have been confirmed to have killed themselves with some powder they bought of this man. He is thought to have sold to hundreds between November 2018 and June 2021.

He was arrested at the address at which he lives (probably also the city of Eindhoven). The got on his trail after a women in Best killed herself in May and her devices showed she had bought her method from him. He had been selling his drugs on Marktplaats.nl (a popular website in the Netherlands). Fot just 20 Euros anyone could come pick it up or have it delivered (looks like this is SN but can't be sure).

He is a member of Cooperatie laatste wil (other news agencies say he was a member of Cooperatie eigen wil bit that seems to be a mistake by some journalist). His social media accounts show he seems to be in favor of the ability to make your own choice to live or die.

You completely got the point. They masquerade it as a "human care about other humans" but the reality is that you have to be a living citizen to pay taxes and feed consumerism. After you finish your working life, if you don' have enough money to spend, the public healthcare will let you die because the missing of founds. This is how the rich people and the politicians maintain their status. This is why I want to stop being a marionette.
