• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Picrel. Kinda just been running into a wall wrt the whole "willingness" and "radical acceptance" thing specifically. Starting to consider getting back into selfharm. Beginning to unrepress emotions reminded me of why I repressed them in the first place, I can't handle them. I think "processing emotions" is fake. I think they don't go away after you process them, so why bother. I'm assuming this is some "it gets worse before it gets better" type shit. How long does it take to start getting better? Been in this state for about a month or two ish

Formulaic or scripted therapy should not be expected to work for everyone. One can look at emotions as serving two purposes. The first is to enjoy life. This can be abused when someone tries to stimulate their emotions directly and become a type of addiction. The second way emotions are useful is when they make us feel bad and let us know that there is a problem that needs to be fixed.

In school we may encounter a bully that makes us feel bad. The bad feeling can motivate us to find a way to avoid him, negotiate with him, or confront him. Revisiting old emotions without a way to apply the feeling to specific corrective action sounds like opening old wounds for no purpose.
