I have an internet friends who recently started recovering and going better but he
doesn't know im suicidal at all and im planning to attempt to ctb really soon.

Should i tell him about my future attempts? Send him a scheduled suicide letter? Or even lie about quitting social media ?

Idk what to do at all and every idea i think of seems even more crueller than the previous one and i really don't want to destroy all his efforts to get better.

I know its a pro choice forum but im really struggling to find the least terrible choice so any help would be greatly appreciated
tysm

When I told friends they treated me differently. I regret telling. Their reactions/vibes make me feel worse. I wish I could go back in time.

This choice is 100% yours to make. I personally have decided not to tell a single person outside of this forum, for fear of being sent to a psych ward.

How close of a friend are we talking? Do they know you're real info (name, location, etc.) or is it more casual?

Telling people before often causes problems. A nice letter will do.
