Zi’s Diary, Entry 59

[Chuuya-Chan ⋆. 𐙚˚]

Today was defini Better than the day before, my back is at least 60% better than it was yesterday after doing some light stretches but I will still be taking things carefully tomorrow.

To be completely transparent nothing out of the normal happened today but I've had the last few hours to realize how lucky I am and that my life for the most part is pretty good.

I want to be an art teacher.

I'm not sure it'll pay the best and I've never thought very seriously about college up until now but my counselor has given me the perspective of why not? I don't have much plans for the future and if I'm able to save up or get a scholarship that will be the next thing I work towards.

On Thursday I'll be out all day and I'll be trying sushi for the first time, I'll be making cookies inspired by crumbl cookies and we're going to watch TV.

I'm quite excited and the more I see him the more I fall in love with him.

I'll have faith.

I have faith in you Chuuya. My mother is an art teacher, has been for a few decades now. The job is challenging and teaching, more than ever, is hard and formidable— but unbelievably valuable. The vast majority of positive influences in my life have come from two things— teachers and art. My mother and my grandmother both taught, I was supported in school by my teachers, and I was given a better understanding of the world and history by my teachers— something that I have carried with me in forming empathy and love for those around me. Having this goal in mind and having such a noble cause is a beautiful thing. Please hold on to it, know that there will be others rooting for you, even if in odd spaces and unknown distances.

Thank you for the insightful comment, I thought about it a bit more as I took a walk today and it seems like the path I want to take
