  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

I feel like most suicide methods deem organs non-transplantable??

I would like to donate all my organs too but I don't know if it's possible after CTB. It would be great to be able to do so. That way your life can have some kind of meaning.

By the time most people are found (since we don't ctb in front of others), it's too late to save organs. And yeah, certain methods such as N or SN would make organs unsafe to transplant even if you died in a hospital.

Always give 100% - unless you’re donating blood.

If someone dies in hospital following a period of being in a coma and no poisons were involved, then there could be the possibility of organ donation, with the permission of family members.

I'd love to do it since someone else could definitely make more use out of them but my circumstances probably won't allow it. So you're definitely right...ctb will make organs unusable in 99 percent of the cases.
I have a "donation passport" in my wallet that states that in case of an accident (with my body still being intact somehow) doctors are allowed to take about everything they need since I can never be sure whether an accident will off me pre-ctb.

Stopped caring about it because it is most likely my organs won't be harvestable whatever method I do.

Not gonna do it! I dont wish to be a part of mankind's Frankenstein solution. If there is something that I own it's my body and the suffering that it has caused me. My body is mine, I was born with it and it has caused me so many issues and so much pain, I want this fucker to go down with me! All of it! Finally, burned to ash and left to blow in nature's cruel uncaring winds.

Also, sorry for others that were born with failing parts or require them due to any accident or other issue but that's just nature's will at play. Accept fate and die like the rest of us! Everyday is a good day to die my brothers and sisters.

id prefer cremation. the idea of rotting doesnt please me.

the topic at hand, its like @x~Sophia~x the body has to be in perfect condition. your organs are living, if they die you cant give them to someone else. if they could come back to life like that they would just bring you back and fix their own organs.

AFAIK you can do both! They take out... okay, they _harvest_ your usable parts and cremate the rest.

That's right! Sounds like a better choice lol

@Life_and_Death

Yeah, getting rotten sounds bad. I hope whenever I'm gone they respect my wishes and get me cremated lol

Maybe I'll cut my liver out mid-flight and place it in a shock-proof container. No way anything is going to survive my current method. Now, if the government can offer me one minute with a loaded shotgun, they can take anything they want except for the non-existing brain stem.

That won't work as extracted organs spoil too fast. You'll need to take the person who needs the liver with you, put them in a shock-proof container, and then transplant the liver mid-flight. Tricky, but not impossible.

Says online that the liver is viable for 12h after extraction. Mid-flight surgery sounds too badass not to perform, however.

I'm not against my organs being donated but I'm pretty sure they wouldn't be usable by the time I'm found.

I've opted out of organ donation. Rather get cremated with them intact rather than out.

If my organs don't get messed up in whatever method I go with, I'd love to donate them. If there's someone out there that needs them because they want to live, they deserve them much more than I do.

From what I've seen and read, most of those that suicide can not donate their organs. If they are able to keep things pumping on life support, yes, you can be a donor. For most though, the only things donated are corneas, heart valves and even tissue. This info comes from accounts I have read - I'm no expert.

I don't want to sound like a jerk, but ctb or not, I don't like the idea that a part of me could go on living inside someone else. Aside from that, there is just one person that I would gladly give any and all my organs to, even while being alive. That sounds a bit kinky... but I didn't mean it that way. :)))

I opted out. No organ donation from me, my organs came with me and are going with me, this answer won't please everyone, but it's my body, my decision. Sorry.
