Your ideal date/time of season to CTB?

If you had the luxury of deciding the date of when you will CTB, what would it be? For me, I'm still trying to decide on a date that has meaning; either my father's CTB anniversary, my own birthday, or another date in early September that's personal to me. Conversely, and if I can make it to then, I might make it less about "meaning", as a message to others, and instead, pick a time of year that would "feel right" for myself. I might pick early autumn in October, my favorite season, that magic time of "sweater weather", when the leaves change color, right after when the heat and humidity dies down, but before it gets cold and bitter. To me, that's when it's ideal, the sky is getting darker earlier, and it just feels like the time to grab an extra blanket and "hibernate".

whenever i cant take it anymore i will ctb., but i will be mindful to not make it to close to anyones birthday who loves me, so i dont ruin their bday forever

I feel like in my case, every day is an ideal day to ctb, I am tired of this horrible life, and I just want the peace that death brings. I guess if I had to choose, I would ctb in winter, as that is my favourite time of year. I like the sound of dying on a very cold day.

Honestly, either when all of my family has passed away in peace (maybe 30-35 Years from now), or until I can get a gun to shoot myself in the heart. Might hurt a lot more than a brain shot but, at least there's less chances to survive as a vegetable...

I used to have all these plans where I'd go somewhere and watch the sun rise or set one last time or take a minute to cherish the last parts of the world I get to see, rather it be it snow, rain, crunchy leaves, feel the wind on my skin somewhere outside of the city. I used to really put a lot of thought into what time of the year would be the best last season to experience, I always liked thinking about the end of autumn. Now I know that whenever I get a chance to do this for real, I'll want it to be as private as possible in my room in the dark so none of that will really matter.
Although I'm surprised I haven't kill myself during the summer. I always have horrible summers, its when all the bad things in my life usually come up or horrible things happen.

Same here. As much as I'd like to wait until the early fall, hot, muggy summers alone could push me to overcome SI and CTB... (Half-joking; but I really, REALLY hate hot, muggy summers...They make me feel ill overall, and I can't breathe well on those days, for starters...but even dry heat gives me a headache...)

I would love to go in the fall, just before it gets too cold. October is my favorite month, so maybe sometime then. It's away from special events like family and friend birthdays, so if people feel sad that I'm gone in the future, at least it shouldn't bother them on their birthday.

And since it's close to Halloween, maybe they could even pretend I'm a ghost or something, since they know I love the holiday.

i think i want to wait until the end of this year.for around 5 years now my plan has been to do it as soon as i turn 18, but since that didnt happen ill let myself enjoy autumn. i really love thefall and the cold weather, so it feels more appropriate.
being so nervous about my method not working will probably make me do it sooner than later though

My preferred season is Fall. All of the falling leaves, the color changes to the trees and that sunlight that isn't bright and bold, but more dim compared to Summer's. Ideally it would be great to lay in a big stack of leaves watching the sun go down as I CTB. The leaves fall and die, and so do I.

I will try to pick a time close to no major holidays or anyone's birthdays. Probably sometime in the summer then.

But not sure if I will be able to wait for next summer if I don't do it now.
