Well that didn't go as expected.
I'm so sorry everyone. I feel so embarrassed.

I was found and pulled from the water by a game warden. Held in psych for 24 hours. Fuck I was so close :/ I knew I shouldn't have gone.

Maybe it was a good thing because I had forgotten to close this tab. Anyways…

Now my truck has been impounded, probably repossessed. Back at square one.

Now instead of a 1hr, 8 minute drive … it's a 15hr, 47 minute walk.

Not letting this discourage me.

They tried tooth and nail to get a contact out of me so that someone could come pick me up. I refused and refused. I gave them my best friends number and she came to pick me up.

trying again for Tuesday .. like originally planned. besties son is going to get me some more bourbon tomorrow .. he doesn't know *what* for , just that I like whiskey and he wants to help me out - I helped him with money for years until I got here. so this is his way of repaying me. he's a good kid.

I know.. it's just hard not to. I feel a lot of shame too. Like buying a car .. then 2 weeks later returning to the dealership with it because you can't afford it.
Or having to put food back at the register because you only brought a set amount of money.

I know what I want .. but damn why is it so painful

Not much. There's a daily impound fee, plus the 2 and a half months I owe on it. No use in trying to get it back.. but thank you xx

How long is the drop

No drop .. but it's a very deep lake. Right after the boat launch it drops an immediate 10ft or so
