Has anyone ever questioned the world and the way it is? Have you ever questioned your existences and its meaning?

Lol

Yes, every single day. It's such a strange feeling thinking about the origin of everything. It's almost as if our brains are programmed to melt when we think to hard about it. Perhaps death will bring some clarity.

I spend every day wondering what I'm doing here and what my purpose is/was.

Probably do this for hours on end. The time goes by quick when you disassociate.

it may sound stupid, but i feel like i do have it figured out in a way.

life is just an accident, conciousness is something inconsequential and very futile in the grand scheme of things, we live for so little in such small lives and yet the universe will be quadrillions years old with unimaginable distances.

almost as if nothing we do in our short lifespans really mattered at all.

i really hope that there is an afterlife though. maybe it is possible and there is still a hidden meaning to everything we do, but since we have absolutely no way of knowing, it is better to make peace with life having no meaning at all.

I do now. I had a purpose, I was happy, I knew where I belonged and who I was. I am not saying I had figured out every detail, nor am I saying I had figured out the world, but I knew myself and I knew where I belonged. And I lost it.
Now, I'm in the dark, falling and falling and falling and falling and no one who catches me.

I don't think that life has any real universal meaning or purpose. I find it very upsetting that there are no definitive answers to the why questions of life and existence. It's one of the many reasons I never want to have children because I don't want to burden them with the same existential angst.

Place probably is just a human loosh farm set up & controlled by inter dimensional malevolent entities. As for the personal meaning of life, that's up to the individual to ascribe for him/herself. Nature is objective reality.

Either there is no meaning and it's the random machinations of evolution and the forces behind it, the only meaning is the one you choose to give it.
OR
The universe is attempting to accomplish some goal that we are part of and is was beyond our understanding. There is an intrinsic purpose that we can only guess at.

It's the same question as: is there an afterlife or is there nothing after death?
The two views are so opposite there's no way of reasoning it out.

You have to believe one or the other, based on reason or intuition. Or be undecided.
