I just recently had the courage to admit to myself that I'm suicidal because I'm essentially really pathologically lovesick.

Jesus christ this shit hurts, it's been 10 years guys.

There is absolutely no way to get over it. None. None.

All I can do is die.

Stress yourself out enough, you start developing all sorts of physical issues, mostly affecting your heart, blood pressure, and stomach. Let alone the mental anguish that can drive you to suicide. I envy people that are able to break up so easily and get over the pain quickly compared to a person who devoted all their energies into someone they love only to have it back fire repeatedly is like death by a thousand cuts. I understand now why some people never leave abusive relationships too, because they're alone with or without a relationship. Alone with the pain from the relationship or together sharing the pain and more pain inside the relationship.

I'm not sure if you can literally die, as even know people may die inside, they do not live, and they just exist, they are kept alive by a powerful survival instinct. I'm sorry that you are going through this, I can imagine that it must be painful and devastating. This life can just be so awful, to me it is horrible how much we can suffer. More than anything, I wish that I never existed in the first place.

Idk if it's a lovesick thing, ( probably more resentment related). But I've had a few really close friends that I've had the Sick and sad chance of witnessing them being beat to Fckn shit from their Idiot dickhead boyfriends while I did Nothing.

Been told sooo many times to let them Go and forget it,.... Easier said than done. Idk if they are even alive atm,?. Been through numerous scary situations and texts.. God help them please.

and trying to stay away from the person and cut ties doesn't really work because it simply doesn't. The pain only accumulate until one day you jump off from a window or something

If you were married, everything you did was with that person, every hour. You eat, she's eating with you. You sleep, she's right next to you. You shit, she's outside the bathroom door holding her breath. You also remember the times you argued, how it got so bad that they threatened to harm you, slowly chip away your humanity, and leave you as a shell of your former self. Love blinds you though, you forget that as long as they revert back to the nice version of themselves and be there for you again....only to hurt you again.

This definitely rings true for me but everyone I know blames all my problems on my poor diet, lack of exercise, or poor sleep schedule.

To that I say I blame all those things on my lack of a love life so it's still the root cause.

Hello there. I feel that I can relate to you :') It's only been two years for me, but I completely understand what you're going through. Thankfully the withdrawal has gone away, for the most part anyway. I imagine I'll still be the same way eight years from now as well, if I can't move on and find somebody else. Nobody else feels right, though. I haven't been in a relationship since then, but even sex just doesn't feel right anymore.

I hope that you find your way, no matter which way you decide to go.

This is one of the most draining and torturous feelings one can experience. Sometimes I think I'm not entitled to relate, because I never even spoke to the person I love. 14 years and I still desperately want to see her and tell her everything. Sadly, it may be far too late.
