It makes sense I guess in some way.

I am largely ignorant or perhaps apathetic but do you feel covid is to be avoided?
I felt the entire world overreacted and this lockdown solution has caused people more harm than the virus.

I flat lined from an asthma attack at 6, I vaguely recall how much it sucked not to breathe. I wouldn't want to go out like that. I want to die, but by my hand, I wouldn't be happy to be a victim of a mugger for example.

I think it makes sense. Covid could be a long, difficult, lonely death. If you are looking to escape pain, of course it would be something to be afraid of.

Yeah I'd like my death to be quick and instant. Not long drawn out and painful like Covid and the many unfortunate people who had to suffer through it.

I feel like this about situations too. I think it's because the death isn't under our control like ctb is.

I ain't going out by covid. If I went to go out not breathing I would drown myself. I also don't wanna be responsible for spreading it either.

I don't want to be just another statistic. Though I guess I'll just be a different statistic. A suicide statistic.

Dying of Covid is horrible. Like drowning. If anyone's thinking of CTB via Covid please reconsider, whether or not you succeed you're going to amp up the chances of infecting someone else.

The shutdown was not an overreaction; the government's mistake was concealing information, not having a plan, and then failing to pay people to stay home. All of which would have been so easy.

I would love to get COVID. I'm just worried its not 100% affective, and instead I'm left with some type of long-term damage afterwards. Otherwise getting it will be super convenient, at least won't have to stress about CTB, and feel like I'm hurting my parents as much, also less embarrassment to die that way, comparing to people finding out I actually committed suicide

Nah, it's understandable. I want to die, sure, but I'm dying on my own terms, peacefully, when I'm ready. Covid seems like a miserable way to go out. Wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.

Yeah that's me. But it's more because i have immunocompromised people were i live.

It also triggers me somehow. Unseen viruses that stick on walls and skin makes me quite unnerved.

It makes sense to me. I'm very suicidal, but I still go to all my doctor appointments and take meds that keep me alive like insulin and thyroid hormones. And I look before crossing the street. LOL

It's pretty silly on the surface, but I think it's that even though I want to not be here, there are still a lot of ways I do not want to die. I don't want to suffer, and I hate being sick. Plus, I want the choice to be mine and to control when it happens. Things like covid are unpredictable and unpleasant, so I'll do what I can to avoid and not make my situation worse.

It's not that much of a contradiction. Unless you're obese, diabetic, or otherwise immunocompromised, you're very unlikely to actually die of Covid. Instead you'll be stuck with potential permanent lung AND brain damage if the data on recovered patients are to be believed. Even if it kills you it would probably still be quite painful so it's understandable to want to avoid it...

SN and slice n' dice combined. If the SN somehow doesn't work then I'll bleed out. Plus I'm kinda hyped to see whether I'll be able to see my blood turn brown as the SN kicks in lmao.

My preferred ctb method is jumping beachy head.
I'd love to do that too but think my SI will kick in once I'm close to the edge. Perhaps if I don't look down and just fool my brain by screaming "bungeeeee" before I jump I might be able to do it. :)

I wouldn't want to die from covid, but if I do catch it and get sick I'll use it as an excuse and skip the suffering part.

To be frank, I kinda question people who wish to die from covid, but at the same time, I kinda understand why

Personally, I would prefer as peaceful a death as possible; however, I have no fears or qualms about dying from Covid. To me, at this point, it is just another means to meet my goals.

I have had many illnesses over my lifetime (including triple lobe pneumonia) and am immunocompromised. Statistics say I would likely die from Covid if I catch it - although, with my luck, I would end up surviving it with little to no long-term effects - go figure.

On edit: I have to add that my one fear of Covid is becomming a Typhoid Mary - while I do not particular care if I die from it, I would not want to harm anyone else during the course of the disease.

I have met several people who have suffered the covid. Statistics say that it is not as lethal as the media suggests. Unless you develop pneumonia or a torrent of cytokines, you will probably survive. From my close circle I only know one person who died of "covid" but was over 70 years old and had cancer

I thought they put Covid patients into an induced coma while treating them? I´m referring to the serious cases.

If you are under 50 you have a 0.005% chance of dying from covid. Not even worth thinking about.

Even if one is suicidal it makes sense to want to avoid suffering. Nobody likes getting sick, and dying of covid would suck.
