Wouldn't some blood loss method be good? I don't see people talking about it

I was thinking about this, doing a small cut somewhere and just keep waiting while you're losing blood. Does anyone know how this method would be?



My only concern is sufocating or not being able to breath, but I think we'd lose consciousness before that.

Once I fainted due to low blood pressure and it was very quick I hit my head too but didn't feel a thing. I wonder if it'd be the same because as we lose blood, the blood pressure naturally will go down too, we'd definitely be unconscious before actually dead (I'm guessing).

I think it's to do with damaging your nerves when you cut yourself that's why it's a non-method.

So, a small cut usually won't cut it (ba dang tiss), so a very deep and big cut is usually required. A rule of thumb is that if you cut deep enough to reach an artery, you should end up bleeding out pretty easily, but again that's a lot of blood being lost instead of some, though you should lose consciousness quite easily.

I saw a case once online on 𝕏 where some dude had cut deep into his left arm I believe and he lost a lot of blood very fast and in the video you could see the blood spewing out onto the wall. He didn't make any sounds in the video, and his parents ended up finding him unconscious and bleeding out where they later contacted emergency services and ended up saving his life.

So all in all, this could definitely work out, you just need to do everything right. I also heard that if it is done on your leg than it is more effective but the arm is usually done first for obvious reasons.

In my mind it seems a calm way to go, you'll be unconscious before stop breathing. It's just a quick pain in the region you will use the knife then just wait.

It would be extremely painful and hard to hit an artery

There have been several threads asking abut this and the short answer is: You have to hit a major artery for it to be viable. Most people do not have the will or the skill to hit a major artery as it requires deep, precise cuts.

Also, to add, death by exsanguination (blood loss) usually happens as an side-effect of a method, like bleeding out from a gunshot wound in a critical area (the chest, brain, major artery, etc.), or even serious things like car crashes, decapitation, etc. Even then it can be painful and really agonizing to go if one is still conscious while bleeding out.

It's not painless and it's very difficult to overcome survival instinct and pull it off.
