  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

Yes I would be much more likely to live longer. Though I would still spend time on the forum here. LOL

Yes. Money is not the issue for me. It's pain--physical and mental. And loneliness and being too different to build a good life for myself. and the compound effects of all of these factors expanded across my entire lifetime.

Money cant buy happiness, but would you feel inclined to live longer?
No. Money doesn't buy happiness for me in my world. It would put me at ease that I had enough to give my kids and make sure all my end life matters were taken care of.

I would be more inclined to make the most of my time but I would probably die even sooner from drug overdose or some other excess while partying. You have too many excesses at your fingertips with that kind of money and too many people trying to take advantage of you.

Nope. Money doesn't buy happiness, I would donate all that money to animal charities, and then CTB.

Money is the main reason why I am postponing my suicide. With enough money, I won't need to die (ever). With too much money I wouldn't know what to do, I don't even want to have that much money.

I'd be a suicidal rich person. Sure, maybe it'll make me change my mind about the date I'll go, but once money are gone, spent on useless bullshit that'll make me happy for like 30 min, there's still nothing less and I still feel empty and detached from reality.

It would never truly make me happy but all of my problems would be fixed, money doesn't make mental illnesses vanish instantly though

But just imagine access to real doctors; not just the scumbag-doctors who fail their way into the low income healthcare sector.
Doctors who give a shit about helping can make a big difference, and they cost money.

Absolutely not. Almost all my problem stem from poverty. I was never well off, but recently i've gotten down to near-homeless levels, am usually missing at least one utility, am stuck in a falling-apart century-plus-old place that's nowhere near up to code with some older, sick relatives...if things get much worse this place won't be fit for human habitation. I'll have no choice but to catch the bus because the other path for me will involve homelessness (again!) and ending up in the psych ward with no money and no healthcare. I refuse. I've suffered enough already.

I maintain crying in a Ferrari beats crying in a dumpster, but it doesn't change the fact you're crying.
However that is a world changing amount of money. I could give it to some really kind people and that process might postpone CTB until the money is adequately allocated.

Yes. I would atleast try to fix my issues with my body (im intersex.. not that it really matters) and try therapy while doing it.

If it would make me happy after I'm done cool I'll stay alive and if not suicide.

Oh yeah, money makes you more entitled in this world nowadays so I agree with you on that, how silly of me to forget
