• Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

If I had lived in the Middle Ages, I would like to have been a nun. I would have enjoyed being an educated woman in an atmosphere of spirituality and piety (OK, so that is not too far off from what I am in 2018 ). Also, I would not have needed to deal with sexually aggressive men or risk getting pregnant. I had an infected tooth in 2015: since there were no antibiotics in the Middle Ages, I might have very well died of that infected tooth -- no need to ctb. If not that, then perhaps uncontrolled hypothyroidism (which I have been diagnosed with for close to 10 years now: in the 21st century, it is well controlled with Levothyroxine, but that would not have existed centuries ago), or my frequent ear infections during my twenties and thirties, would have contributed to my demise. It would be nice to know how I would have lived and died 600 years ago.

No. It's much easier to die with modern chemicals, high buildings, bridges, and guns. Why die a slow and painful death if I could just die by gun or something living out my last few days in a comfortable, modern, world.

Compared to that time its a luxury to be able to choose our methods to an extent like we are doing now on this site. Back then you died painfully as fuck without any real choice.

Famine, disease, etc. Most died painfully whether they wanted to or not.

I would have to say no because while there are more ways to die and medical treatment is not anywhere near as advanced as today, the suffering before actual death would be too hard to bear. I don't like to deal with a lot of pain to reach death itself and I'd rather have a painless, less uncomfortable death than to go through excruciating pain before dying.
