If you had to pick one, which one would you be and why?

I wonder if there is a preference according to gender. But then, also- would you maybe prefer to be a vampire or werewolf in the opposite gender?

I sort of lean towards a werewolf preference. But then, maybe not if you didn't get the choice- if you just turned on a full moon. Probably a male werewolf too. May as well be big and impressive.

I think it would be cool to have retractable fangs but then, trying to find people to bite doesn't really appeal! I'm not really into casual relationships either so- becoming hugely attractive to everyone around me likely wouldn't suit well either.

I suppose becoming a werewolf, you get fierce fangs as well as everything else. It would be useful maybe to know you could turn into something terrifying if needed. But then, maybe you'd be more likely attacked that way!

I especially love it when they are violent and kill and act more animalistic. I love their fang and their pointy ears and how their skin never has life to it. I always liked the idea of vampires so that. It also became my signature emoji. In Skyrim there's a really cool vampire questline. I never got to do it but watched a playthrough and it looked really cool.

I love vampires, but it'll have to be werewolf. Vampires are immortal and if I wanted to change that, I wouldn't have many avenues pleasant to CTB (stake through the heart, burned/poisoned/suffocated by garlic/sun, melted by water in some myths, silver in some myths works too so silver dagger?)

Immortality would consist of watching the only people who are keeping me alive now slowly age and wither without me. There is no winning that. Werewolf it is. At least (silver) bullets are a bit faster. I need an "out."

This is a hard question for so many reasons! I've always thought vampires were sexy- until I started watching Guillermo Del Toro's show The Strain. The vampires are sort of zombie-like; most of them lose their human intelligence and many human physical features. They are easily controlled by the oldest & maybe first vampire (I haven't finished it yet), so, to a degree, they don't even have free will.

Sexy vampires are much more common in media and it looks like a lot of fun: no more physical illness or aging, you can still be sexual, & easily blend in with humans at night. I don't necessarily want to be immortal, tho I might feel differently if I stopped aging & were an apex predator with access to anything I want.

Even sexy vampires have it hard sometimes; in Only Lovers Left Alive, they need to be very careful about where they get blood because they are vulnerable to an illness humans carry in their blood (it doesn't affect humans).

Werewolves have that hot-blooded, wild sexual energy, but I imagine they are stinky. And I don't want more hair; I am already a woman dealing with some whiskers. I would love to have their enhanced senses and the freedom to be nothing more than a wild animal during full moons. Seems like the transformation is always painful, tho; the human body being torn apart by the inner wolf. Their connection to the moon and nature is beautiful.

I think being a sexy vampire OR a werewolf would be an improvement & I'd take either over my current self.

As a vampire, it's logical; I'd have a romance with some teenager and run through the woods at dawn, just like Edward. Or a double romance like the Salvatore brothers.

Vampires are dead... Werewolves are alive... so I suppose in keeping with suicidal tendencies, I would prefer to be a vampire, since I would already be dead at least.

Being a Vampire doesn't sound that bad at all.
Honestly, I'm not a dog guy and being a werewolf sucks. You come from the rain back home and you have that bad wet dog smell.. ugh, disgusting XD

But as a Vampire, I think it might be possible to make my cat immortal as well and honestly, this would be very nice.

Also, because of the whole immortality thing, I could save up a lot of money by not spending it on food and there will be definitely be a lot of freaks who would offer their blood to me for free and the best thing is that I'm Bi so I wouldn't care if I would suck some blood from a guy or a chick.
After saving enough money, I could also buy a palace.
For example since I moved to Poland, at a price of around 182.000usd there is an good looking palace and I could imagine living in it as a vampire and because of the vibes it gives, I would choose an gothic interior design. Especially the ones I see quite often on TikTok would look awesome with that palace.

Sure it would take a lot of time to restore but hey, I would be immortal anyway, so I could just take my time XD

Some vampire slaughtering methods seemed better than others. A simple walk in the sun seemed enough for a lot. I was going to say- how simple but then, not if it's like immolation.

I like how thoroughly everyone is thinking it through though. Lol. Most monster deaths looked painful though.
