what crime do you have to commit for a single cell?

No thanks. Solitary confinement would be a fate worse than death.

I'm really sorry you're feeling so bad. I would definitely rather die than be in solitary confinement. I feel I've had a small taste of prison through being in psychiatric wards, and the lack of freedom really is dreadful. I was longing just to be outside in a dumb town walking on the sidewalk, eating chocolate.

Usually something really, really serious, like manslaughter or murder, or certain crimes that can give you life in prison (or the death penalty in many states). However, some states that don't have the death penalty, you will just get life in prison. With that said, I strongly do NOT recommend you do that as that hurts other people and also being alive in a small cell almost 24/7 until you die is not pleasant at all.

Solitary confinement is generally seen as being cruel and unusual punishment however ifvu are already inside getting solitary confinement is easier ,just regularly assault the guards or better yet kill someone in jail and poof ur a magic dragon all alone

I would rather get the death penalty than solidarity in cell for the rest of my life. Being deprived of freedom is hell. Makes me sympathize with dogs when they are put in cages for hours all day.

Definitely not.

If you want to get away from the responsibilities that society tries to force down your throat, you're better off living in the woods/mountains or becoming a monk living in a monastery. Neither option is easy either, but they are way better than deliberately committing a crime just to go to prison and get solitary confinement. (Unless you want to deal with having to fend for your life and well-being against the many sociopathic monsters you'll be forced to associate with in there)

Absolutely! I remember when my dad used to just tie our dog to a post nearly the whole day. Seriously,if you're just gonna do that shit, you may as well not get a pet at all. You don't NEED a dog for house protection. You can buy cameras(which he's already installed),safe-rooms,and other stuff that don't involve the responsibility of taking care of a pet.

My dad can be so thoughtless at times.

Absolutely if people can derive some entertainment out of it they look first to that which is easily exploitable

This. I'm probably in a place that's a little bit better right now. At least I have freedom.

The death penalty sounds much nicer. Now I wonder if anyone ever killed themselves by death penalty.

yes i think someone chose not appealing any further and requested execution as opposed to a life in solitsry confinement

True

Wild. A very safe way to go but you'd have to do some nasty shit to get there and then you'd have to live in a country where it still takes places and isn't stoning or some crazy, brutal stuff like that.

I think I'm one of those who would go insane inside solitary, but there are people who come out of solitary mentally fine. I need interaction to not go crazy at least have to speak to one person face to face during day to stay sane.

as bad as I wanna ctb i wont kill an innocent person just to get the death penalty. But that would be a nice way to go with lethal injection.

I already live like I'm in a solitary confinement. Isolated, laying in bed all day. But I could never commit a crime that involves hurting an innocent person. I already have extreme guilt issues, adding murder on top of that would be worse than hell.

I'm not sure. I must admit I'm a bit sceptical (even for myself) of the idea that "even solitary confinement would be better than this". Because solitary confinement is regarded as one of the cruellest forms of torture - cheap and simple, lock someone up in a room without any form of communication and leave them to rot. And yet that's pretty much what I've experience since the beginning of 2017. I've been out once in all that time and seen one person - otherwise it's just been meter readers, grocery deliveries and an occasional pestering visit from this block's caretaker. Oddly, it's one of the reasons I'm a bit scared to CTB, because I genuinely wonder how long I'd rot here before anyone noticed I'd gone. I suppose some of the neighbours would get the smell eventually...
