If I lay on the left side of my body and placed my head on a bullet stopping item atop a concrete floor and shot through my right temple, where would the bullet land? Any ideas on minimizing brain and blood spatter?

I am not sure, I was thinking about buying a 9mm but am not confident it will equal immediate lights out even if I aim it properly. I want to do either a heart of temple shot but honestly both worry me with the odd angles I'd have to use. What would you recommend up $700 US? If I continue to not be able to get my hands on a gas or pill to ctb, this will have to be the means. Complicating things further, I'm a 5'5" female with average to below average muscle/strength.

Yeah, I'm no fan of 9mm for ctb. Maybe a .44 cal. Defintely can get one for under $700. Really, should try and go practice shooting at a range and get a feel for it. I'm no fan of temple shots either. Not too many women go for a gun. Not meant to be a sexist remark. Just fact.

If you get a bullet that mushrooms or fragments the chances of an exit wound are lower. Also just FYI there's a chance if it does exit it could bounce off either of the items you mentioned. I'm wondering why you're considering a temporal shot?

No offenses taken, I really want some type of pull or gas but can't find anything that will take me out. I've tried various pills 3 times and failed to ctb 3 times now. My life sucks and I suck at my exit. I do plan on going to the range, there's one not far from me. I grew up surrounded by my dad's guns but never learned.

Basically because I don't know what I am doing. I really want a less messy methodlike gas or pills but can't get my hands on anything lethal. I already tried 3 times now and my body keeps chugging along like nothing happened.

I feel like I may have an easier time with the angle of the gun to the temple but of course, I'll need some practice which I plan on. I feel I may change my mind on the temple option with some practice.

If you want a side of the head shot you would be much better off putting the gun behind the ear. There is a better chance of an effective shot to the parts of the brain that is lights out.

Shooting at the temple comes with risks. Flinch and you might hit one of the hemispheres leaving the other to pick up the slack. Another issue is that the frontal lobe is good for higher brain functions but doesn't really do much for the most basic of function like keeping your heart beating and your lungs breathing.

A lot of people die each year after being shot from a 9mm gun. That said I'd say it's as small of a caliber you would want to use. I strongly stress that you would want to use a hollow point round that would mushroom upon impact. Self defense rounds are the best.

.40, .44, or .45 acp all have a larger projectile and will make a bigger hole and bullet track through a brain. Once again self defense or hollow point bullets are highly recommended.

If you want to discuss it further or have more questions regarding caliber or techniques just hit me up.
