Would sodium azide be quick?

Has anyone here on SS used sodium azide?
If you take enough, will it be quick?

I know it's painful.. I have a lot of other methods coming or at home but yeah,
at least this one is 100% certain, right?

I know: no metal and having signs saying that I used sodium azide if I do choose to go down this route.

We report 3 cases and review the published literature on sodium azide ingestion. A 38-year-old man intentionally ingested 2 tablespoonsful of sodium azide in water and developed seizures, coma, hypotension and fatal ventricular arrhythmias within 2 hours. A 33-year-old male ingested an unknown quantity of sodium azide. In the emergency department he was unconscious and underwent immediate intubation and gastric lavage. Nitrite therapy was instituted without improvement. He remained acidotic despite bicarbonate therapy and developed hypotension which was unresponsive to pressor agents. He died approximately 8 hours after admission despite resuscitative efforts. A 52-year-old male ingested 1.5 to 2g of sodium azide and survived for 40 hours. Nitrite therapy was ineffective. The role of sodium nitrite in treating sodium azide toxicity by producing methaemoglobin which complexes with azide is discussed.

What would be considered 'enough'?

On this forum most people don't recommend it due to explosion hazard but that shouldn't be a problem if you're careful.

I don't think you could have any certainty of a 15 minute time. I think an hour or two is much more certain. Certain methods can be combined.

I do have SN at home but my digestive issues would make this extremely unpleasant and it might not even work .. and I might end up even worse. Idk.. what methods could I combine it with?

So SN needs to be absorbed through the small intestine. I have extreme stomach issues, and absorb problems. It is reversable as well so if I can't take the pain I will call 911 and they will treat me and I'll be 'saved' and in even worse condition. For SA there is no antidote.. not saying it will be 'better', just saying that SA, will cause death 100% almost

I've taken an interest in this, and there are a few good medical examiner reports that are publicly available online. While I don't plan on immersing in a warm water bath, or acidic solution as the gas is very light and hard to contain, I think ingestion of SA would be a good mix with a more "direct" solution.

Personally I'm considering large dose SA immediately prior to a self inflicted GSW. In the event the GSW fails, the addition of SA would be a certain completion. (By certain I mean a high enough chance where I'd be comfortable with my chances of success).

In the United States it's not impossible by any means. I was able to purchase this with less than a one week lead time.

You should be able to buy this from a laboratory store. One of my favorite YouTube channels "Nilered" is based out of Vancouver, BC and he is able to obtain these chemicals.
