Would people do suicide by quicksand?

It looks like you're right, especially the way it is depicted in the movies- at twaist deep you don't go much further. It could kill you if you were at a beach and high tide came over you while trapped this way. And what they call "dry quicksand"- falling into a vat of grain, that can smother you. Interesting that all those movies really faked the quicksand thing.

Only the one and true Indiana Jones fan would attempt this final "act". Probably quite distressing and extraordinarily slow, but at least they'd CBT with their heart full of bravery and adventure to explore the new horizons and lands beyond.

I have never heard of anyone ctb this way. As others have said, it sounds like a horrible way to go. I want to exit this world peacefully, no one should have to resort to traumatic methods.

Hey man, you probably want to do this, because of despair on getting the other methods working. Don't give up, please. They are a thousand times better than quicksand. I mean, it's the last thing you're ever going to feel so preferably it shouldn't be ants crawling on your ass.

Absolutely not. A slow death where your chest feels continously restricted and crushed --> anxiety / panic. Fast > slow every time.

Quicksand would work as a suicide method and live burial also leads to death.
