Ending up as a ghost is usually seen as a doomed fate. This may sound weird, but I wish I could kill myself and continue living. I guess it's because each sucks in its own way. It seems to me like being a ghost would let me enjoy some of the things I like about life (music, movies, comedy, hearing a good story, reading – yes I'm an English major nerd). I'd miss out on drugs (god's gift basket :) ) and I'd probably wouldn't be able to create anything (writing, music, stories), or if I did there'd be no record of it, not that it's something I've taken advantage of much while alive either.
Would you mind being a ghost? I sure as hell wouldn't bother to haunt anyone.... I've always thought that's something made up by narcissists – that they're so important people in the afterlife would spend time on them.
Would it not be nice to hang around after death to just enjoy things that are undoubtedly fun? Honestly, that's all I want. Am the only one who thinks that what he'll miss the most about life is having fun? People let you down, but I know how to entertain myself. That's why lockdown hasn't been so hard on me. It's having to do everything else that is exhausting.
