• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

will it be less traumatic for the person who finds you after hanging if your head is covered by pillow case?

It doesn't remove the shock but definitely less traumatic I would think.

It was originally done in capital punishment so it was easier for the executioner to pull the lever, it serves no other purpose as when someone finds you they'll remove it

Absolutely. It is quite common for ANY unit to arrive first if they are the clostest to the location. I have heard "horror" stories of fire fighters finding a person that committed suicide. Obviously, a pathologist that will examine your body may be more desensitised but the first dispatched unit may definitely struggle with it for a while.
