Would flood the zone with shit also work against the Sanctioned Suicide community?

It was Steve Bannon's strategy for the Trump campaign. This forum has a lot of enemies the DDOS attacks are one proof for it. What if a mass poster had the goal to undermine this forum from within? For example, by a cascade of lengthy threads in medicore English with many errors which could have been easily prevented. And if this individual does this over years and years... as if this was an autistic special Interest or something like that. And the real goal is to make the readers brainless monkeys who just consume the content while forgetting their actual goal why they visited this forum in the first place. The person could even create two SPAM threads. (which sadly were deleted and even like in a Stand Alone Complex there are copycat posters who create New Spam threads. And in a miraculous way SPAM thread 3 never was deleted)
(For the record this is all a joke I need this forum so much how else should I spend my sad and lonely evenings.)

But in another more serious way. Some method questions Sound pretty dumb. Some are probably not thought through or just a joke. But one never knows who to trust on here if the stakes are very high. And every Information on here should be taken with a grain of salt. I don't visit the suicide discussions that frequently anymore. I am not sure whether one could destroy it by spreading a lot of misinformation. The people would be pretty evil though if the goal was to put the readers in danger by deceiving them.

I don't have the feeling intentional misinformation is a Big problem on here. But there is a lot of half-knowledge and one should be really careful whether to take advices on here or not... My 2 cents

I think people get pretty cross sometimes with failed SN attempts being reported. I imagine most of them are genuine and I actually think it's better we do hear of them. Usually, there is a reason- the protocol wasn't followed so- it seems better to know what can make it fail. Some reports though, have sounded a little far fetched.

Obviously- seeing as SN is such a popular method here, it would serve pro-lifers well to discredit it as something hugely unreliable and painful. So- I think there is pananoia around that.

I've sometimes been suspicious of leading questions which outright ask for help in assisting a suicide. I have no doubt law enforcement is present here. Although, I wonder if they would try to entrap people.

I suppose what could do the forum the most damage is someone too extremist. Someone actually encouraging suicide. Or, easily giving away sources. They are the ones more likely to be quoted by those in opposition to the forum to try to suggest it is some sort of death cult or, that it does encourage suicide.

As for more spam type threads, I suspect all that would do is make people just skip over them or visit the forum less- if there were loads of them. But then- interest is nuanced. What might seem boring or stupid to one person will interest another. That's what I like about the forum though. There are plenty of varied things to engage with or- you can create your own.
