would i be dead before i hear it go off? is there even a way to know?
loud noises have always been difficult for me. i was diagnosed with autism when i was young enough to be helped more, but my home environment was too loud and violent for me to make any progress on that issue. even thunderstorms still make me cry—ehehe. hearing a gun fire at point-blank range might startle me half to death! though that wouldn't be counterproductive, i don't think the bullet needs help.
i wish for a moment in my life where i can be certain nothing will ever scare me again. why can't anything, even pulling a trigger, ever be easy? scary...all of it.
