I feel like I'm getting to the threshold where I want to exit. There's nothing to look forward to and no prospect of improvement.

But how do I make this as easy as possible on my parents? It wasn't their fault. It's not the fault of my ex, even though the breakup probably tipped me right over the edge I've been wanting to not wake up since I was a kid. It is absolutely the fault of my ex husband, who I hope goes straight to Hell. It is not the fault of my darling dog, but I don't know what to do with him so he doesn't have to be upset for the days before I'm found (I live alone and work from home)

I tested knots today. Not satisfied with the necktie and I'm not sure the vacuum power cord will work, but I have a pull up bar which is perfect if I close the blinds so the neighbours won't see. Might use the dog leash - clip it to the bar and use the handle loop to create a noose.

i don't think there is a way to make it easy on your parents. the death of a loved one will always hurt, no matter what. the only suggestion i have is if you're leaving a note, to emphasize that none of this is their fault and tell them you love them.

I doubt that will be much comfort. They've seen me fade for the last few years. But they've put in so much work for me. That's what will feel the worst. I'm less concerned if I feel like I'm choking.

That my issue too, hurting the people that i will left, i think we need to accept the fact that we cant to do it by not hurting them, but you cant try to ease their pain, write a letter, try to make sure you leave with everything in order (no loan, a will etc ...)

There's no way to make it easier for your parents or your dog, unfortunately. Unless your dog knows (by scent) that you're dead, he will look for you for years. Perhaps you could stay alive for your dog? I did, for my dog (unfortunately he has passed away now).

I cause more pain being alive than i will dead for sure.

I have done a note, not much but just to explain it isn't their fault etc
