I am in psychiatric hospital so have very limited options. I have ripped a strip of bedding and tied a slip knot and I have tied the end round a very heavy chair and plan to partial suspension but the chair isn't very high off the floor will it work and any tips?

If you try now it now it will probably fail and then you'll be in a worse situation. You're best off waiting till you get out and can plan it seriouslySimilar threads
