I am taking SSRI's for my depression but obviously not working however if I take flu medicine it would interact and eventually cause death supposedly. Unfortunately, it does that by causing seratonin syndrome which is incredibly painful and hard to deal with so it would not be peaceful. I also might harm someone else while in it which I don't want to do.

But I can't be here anymore and I don't have another way. Would this work? If so any advice?

I've mixed all kinds of substances and medicines I'm not supposed to with my antidepressants. Never even came close to death but did get severe akathesia for a few days which was horrific.

There's different side effects depending on the flu meds.

Serotonin syndrome is a possible side effect of cough suppressants (DXM). I'm not certain if other meds cause it, but this one is most common.

I'm not a pharmacist. I simply know this because a family member did this accidentally. They survived. It was a rough ride though.

I wouldn't recommend it based on what I saw. Seizures with high fevers didn't look particularly appealing. And it's by no means a guarantee.

I don't think anyone will think its a good idea because using any drug to CTB will most likely result in failure with potential for lasting effects.

I know you started taking meds for depression, but were you at this level of feeling suicidal beforehand?

Some medications can cause suicidal ideation along with clouding your thoughts, which makes it very hard to think rationally. If you took the meds with the intent to get better, then perhaps you aren't on the right one and need a change.

My advice is don't rush into anything. Impulse decisions rarely work out.
