• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

If I leave a detailed note of what I'm about to do, do you think they'll still look through my phone? I have nothing to hide but I'm honestly worried about them finding how often I've been on this forum and causing other users issues in the future

I asked @COP2CON about it, unless there's other prevailing circumstances leading them to believe your death may not have been a suicide, they'll generally only search the immediate scene.

Yes if they know your password. Just change your passcode prior tho and set it to wipe data after too many attempts

Very likely.
I'm thinking of going nuclear and destroying everything I have. USB sticks, hard drives and what not.
I don't want a single trace of me to exist. This makes it more likely that people will have no choice but to move on.

Might depend on the country as well. But I would assume they (try to) check your phone in most cases in the western world. Apparently it's pretty hard with iPhones, at least used to be. They couldn't open mine without me giving them the code in another case. Obviously needs to be set to erase data after 10 failed attempts, otherwise they can eventually brute force it.

id say its very likely but it also depends on what country youre in, for example, the uk is more thorough and less concerned with the suicidal persons privacy, if youre in the uk you should consider that the "evidence" they find that supports their conclusion of suicide will be shown in a public court, its called an inquest

probably. i just insult the coroners in the search bar. maybe before i die i'll spam my tabs with pictures of donuts to bully the cops, if they want to be invasive they can look up my butt and enjoy the view.
