Will powder N make your mouth numb?

My friend bought some powders days ago,she licked a few,except tasting bitter,her mouth got numb.Is this true?

I tried it once, a small amount. To me it didn't taste as horrible as they say, something like crushed aspirins. The worst thing about it was the very acrid odor. I don't recall it making my mouth numb.

Not when i tried the small amount, but another time I accidentally (!) took two large size capsules filled with n powder and it put me right to sleep - but I had seizures the next day. It was too much, maybe 5 or 600 mgs with zero tolerance. A seizure fall almost killed me but there were no aftereffects once the wounds healed. I believe the prescribed dose when it was used as a sleeping pill was 1 or 200 mg.

I'd be concerned too. I'm no expert but i don't recall hearing about - or experiencing - mouth numbness.

Unknown seller,location:China.I don't think barbital sodium can numb mouth,I also think it's something like lidocaine.
