The older I get the more strange and evil this world feels. I don't feel warmth anymore outside or even inside. Oblivion is said to be our true home. I picture it as a place of clouds that's dimly lit and where we're all snug in our own cloud adjacent to everyone else while not being aware of anyone else.

I suffered a lot through life. That's how I have gotten there. It is to the point where I am day by day now. Being dragged through each 24 hours by the few, but very deep connections I do share with people. I really don't want the possibility of more trudging after I die.

I struggle each day too, but I still want things to be good again like they once were many years ago, so I hope there's more good after death. I guess people are just wired differently and want different things.

My earliest memory is being raped by my grandfather. It's never been good for me. I do hope that if there is an afterlife, it's as nice as you picture it. I just struggle to believe it can be good.

You can tell this world is not right when you are aware of things like:

The "peace" in the world is because countries are threatening each other with nuclear weapons.

For some, being a shitty person without empathy is part of their definition of being 'mature'.

Psychopaths are better able to adapt to this world.

When there are people who defend a fetus much more than a person, but after it is born they don't give a damn about what happens to the child.

When people do not alleviate someone's suffering in a reasonable time but expect the person to continue living in misery for them.
