- I might be underestimating SI but I believe i can overcome it due to my bleak future
- Death should be painless. As long as you don't fall in feet first, either you die instantly from impact or you lose consciousness and then drown.

So, why shouldn't this be my method? I guess I need to find a tall enough bridge but that's the only downside I see.

A month ago I tried this...
SI is insanely strong I started feeling sick couldn't even think straight
It's impossible to overcome that feeling...
If there was a way I wouldn't be here :' (

Do you think closing your eyes, trying to think of something completely different and just moving forward would help?

Overcoming SI seems to be the major issue you hear from people. Not to say it cant be done as there are many stories of people jumping from tall spots but the most common thing you hear from people is dont go through is SI.

Tough to say whether or not its completely painless. Depending on yr height and how you land, you might die instantly, shortly thereafter or the possibiity of surviving. It all varies. Ive heard people say jumping from 12-15 stories all but guarantees death but there are occassionaly stories of people surviving. But the higher you go, the more the odds are in your favor.

Is it a traffic bridge or one over a body of water?

You mention height being a factor in the outcome.

I'm just curious: does being taller and/or heavier than the average person make it more or less likely to CTB?

Surely mass is an issue. I didn't do well at science, but I'm fat as hell and surely that makes me speed up and hit the ground harder.

logically, it's certainly a good method if you value low suffering and an instant death. it will certainly require tremendous amounts of courage to commit to jumping from such a height though, not everyone is capable. i guess you won't know until you try.

I have a specific bridge myself picked up that's really high up above a body of water.
I've replayed me jumping off of it countless of times in my head, and feel it made it less scary to think about, but when the day comes I also am considering drinking a lot of alcohol, or maybe see if I can find some drugs to just quell those fears even more.
I also have a slight hope someone would see me and maybe I'd get a happy ending from that and get help, but that's just the slight copium I have ig, lol.

You can survive and become permanently disabled with chronic pain. O: So, jumping is like 50/50
