Why on earth doesn't every country have assisted suicide?!

Just why??? The small European nation I am from is almost completely atheist, yet there's no assisted suicide. Not even for the terminally ill.

Animals are treated better than we treat other humans when they're terminally ill / want to exit for personal reasons.

Some countries are tied tight by religion and social norms. Some don't even have the death penalty for extreme crimes let alone assisted suicide. In those places no one would want someone's death on their hands, whatever the reason might be.

The most honest answer. It's difficult to make that choice for a lot of people. Letting someone die or even helping someone die is difficult for the majority of rational compassionate people. It's much easier just to look the other way as you won't feel as personally responsible. The issue is a large number of people do that all at once and you end up with the current state of things.

Unless more people start dealing with ending the suffering of people who are terminally ill the current state of things will continue on forever.

They are trying to say that you do not have discernment, and that you are incapable of thinking about your own death, and are imposing life on you!

Pro-lifers often try to pass themselves off as heroes, perfect, gods, vigilantes, etc., for their egocentrism, narcissism!
