If I weight more than 180lbs and have a Spot high enough and with a metal railing what speaks against Drop Hanging?
"This is purported (see Stone1 and Clark2) to cause very quick, and almost painless (possibly for a millisecond) death by way of fracture-dislocation of the upper neck vertebrae, which crushes or severs the spinal cord leading to immediate unconsciousness (in a matter of milliseconds)..."
http://lostallhope.com/suicide-methods/hanging/drop-hanging
"which is also frequently used in executions,..."
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Suicide_by_hanging
"When it comes to judicial hanging, the long drop is the most humane way to go..."
https://health.howstuffworks.com/diseases-conditions/death-dying/death-by-hanging1.htm
The only 2 problems I can see:
Possible Decapitation if the drop is too long...
Strangulation instead of neck break if the drop is too short or the noose knot is at the wrong position...
https://health.howstuffworks.com/diseases-conditions/death-dying/death-by-hanging1.htm
So what else speaks against it?
"DO NOT EVEN THINK OF A DROP"
https://archive.is/9rZtH
still translating this article into my language... but I think this warning is the same regardless of the method:
Don´t do it, because you could fail... and as a result: brain damage... ....like always
