I'm in the USA, why do I need to hear about crimes across the globe. I've seen it since I was 14, after 9/11 it was in the media for 15 years straight on the news. You want it to be shown on the news forever and ever. Why? What does it have to do with the average American? I have enough problems my job doesn't even involve local crimes much less global ones. You have the internet and can do your own research on these matters without media shoving it down everyone's throat for over 20 years.
