From what I've read, SN is more painful and less peaceful, but then why is it more popular here? Is it easier to obtain?

what @peky said. with SN you can take other things to make it more peaceful plus if you get rescued theres like 0.00000000001% chance of there being any permanent damage, i cant speak for others but its definitely a seller for me

It's often psychologically easier for people to drink liquid or take pills.

I think nitrogen method is too technical for me. If I was better at science and not clumsy I would want that method.

Much more difficult to get tank of gas, regulator, make bag correctly, etc than just drink a glass of liquid. And cheaper, and easier and it's fast.

How is SN painful? Most of its unpleasant effects can be strongly minimized with the right antiemetics, right?

It's not painful in the traditional sense but you will get a bad headache, have to be putting up with a taste and after taste that makes you want to vomit, nausea, fast heart rate, high anxiety, possibly stomach pain (some people have reported this). It just sounds like a horrible experience. And yes, you can take ae and benzos and etc to make it more peaceful but you'll still feel these side effects to a certain degree.
I'm planning a complex CTB: swallow capsules of SN, use an exit bag and full suspension hang. I feel I covered all my bases here. My family also knows my wish to not be kept alive if I am brain damaged.

I live with chronic migraine, anxiety and panic disorder, ulcerative colitis (painful stomach ulcers), high blood pressure - basically all the side effects you get from doing SN. So for me this method is gonna be a breeze - like any other day in my life.😉

I thought SN wasn't recommended if you have ulcers?

Like another user said you're probably going to experience high levels of pain if you have stomach ulcers :( and do you know what, I also have stupid bad anxiety from a nervous system condition and that's why I want to ctb. It's too horrible. Imagining my last 20-30 minutes to be filled with even worse anxiety sounds unbearable to me. I also get huge panic with nausea. I just don't know how some people get nauseous, throw up and just shrug it off. Basically half the SN side effects are my nightmare. Pain is not so bad. Headache and tachycardia I could deal with, but anxiety and nausea and vomitting just make this method alone inaccessible to me. That's why I'd get some capsules to swallow while really going for the hanging, just in case you know?

I don't see the difference. OK maybe I'll be in pain for a bit but it'll be over soon. I can have excruciating pain a month straight with a migraine when I feel like stabbing myself in the eye would actually feel better. I think I deal with 40min-4hrs of pain from SN.

I got the benzos, the meto, and the propranolol. Works for me. To each his own. Everyone has their preference so there's no right or wrong way to ctb.

Is this a percentage of damage possible to brain or other organs too?
