I am so lost atm.
Sleeping is the only time that i get any relief from the sadness i feel at being seperated from my boy and the suicidal feelings connected to the frustration of this situation.
I am begging my mind to sleep but i am not able to no matter what i try.
I am so tired.my mind keeps jumping back to what my mental health nurse said this morning which in a nutshell, was if my current state of mind does not improve then my psychiatrist will have me hospitalised again. All this came about because my friend informed them i tried to hang and now i am considered high risk!
I am so tired of fighting my way through the daily struggle which we call life.
I wish i could sleep until my life has sorted itself out and i could just slot back in when i feel better.

I also have trouble sleeping on occasion. I used to have severe insomnia. I can only speak for myself but we might have some things in common. I have bipolar and I naturally have some days where I'm a little bit more manic and I can't fall asleep. My body doesn't want to fall asleep and it keeps me up. I was just talking about this on another post. I think I may be doing small things which may make it worse. Like I may have drank too much caffeine or chewed too much nicotine gum. I don't stress too much over it though. I just have learned to accept it. My sleeping has been a lot better ever since I quit drinking. I know alcohol used to be my way of falling asleep faster but it only made my sleeping pattern grow worst over time. I've also had doctors tell me that most of my sleeping problems can be attributed to poor habits related to bed time. They'd prescribe me some kind of medicine but said it wasn't really necessary. I think this might be true but who is perfect? Obviously a doctor is more likely to be disciplined. I still think there's truth to that though. If you don't have a consistent sleep schedule you're more likely to have poor sleep.

I feel you, sleep has been a struggle for most of my life. On my worst nights, it's as if there's 50 television screens playing at once in my head; many of them just static. Just a disorienting whirlwind of sounds and songs and images and conversations. I'll come close to sleep, and my brain thinks it's cool to send what feels like a jolt of electricity through my body until I'm back to being fully awake. The unfortunate thing is, it can compound and build on itself as lack of sleep worsens your mental health, which worsens your sleep, which... yeah. Spiral of suffering

I wish I had some solid advice, but nothing ever consistently works for me. I used to just drink myself into oblivion so that I could pass out, but you never feel well rested that way. Sometimes focusing on my breath helps (specifically 4-7-8 breathing) but it's hit or miss. If I'm manic or if adrenaline is pumping through my body nonstop, not much can be done there

I hope you are able to rest soon. I hope we all are, one way or another
