• Hey Guest,

    We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

    Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

    Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

    If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

At one point lifespan was 35-45yrs, now it's 80, or longer. What is the point of work sleep repeat? The fact that we can't exit in this miserable existence is what frustrates me. Or rather we can, it's just not easy. Every CTB method is not so easy. Sorry for my vent. Happy to hear your thoughts.

I imagine you're pretty young. Don't worry, after a while it starts getting much faster.

That is not always true. If you get hit by chronic pain, your life will "slow down" regardless of what age you are in. ;-;

This is interesting because it was true. I talked about this with similar age coworkers. Life was speeding up.
Not now. Painfully slow now. Age lengths from OP would be so much better as I'd be gone by now.

I'd be very happy if the lifespan was just 35, at least id only have 11 years left and nothing would matter much

If you survided into adulthood, you still had solid 20-60 years left. It was the high child mortality which drove the average lifespan down. So you either died as a child or had lifespan comparable to modern day. Of course this lifespan could be shortened by excessive drinking, occasional pandemic or taking some questionable chemicals for your health. But hey, you can have all those things today.

I really understand and I find it so painful how the torture of this cruel, dreadful existence can continue for decades longer with no limit as to how much one can be tortured just to face the terrible extreme agony of old age, to suffer in this existence truly is an abomination to me.

I'll always see this terrible torturous existence as just being suffering all for the sake of it, the fact that so many humans do all they can to force others to be tortured in this existence for as long as possible is such horrific extreme cruelty, to me existing will always feel like the most terrible undeserved punishment. It's so horrible to me how humans continue to cause all this torture by imposing this existence at all, all I want is to not exist, I just want to be permanently unconscious and never suffer again, to me denying the option to cease existing painlessly is evil especially as this torture can continue for decades, to me continuing to exist will always just be prolonging suffering and torture.

I heard a report recently that the business of extending life is booming. I was completely horrified because I don't understand why anyone would want to especially these days so I turned off the report before it got started. Do a quick Google search and you'll see what I mean.

I'm sure there are people that would stay immortal if possible.

Billionaires do. One little bit of solace I take is that they're heading for the graveyard with the rest of us, and none of their/our money will save them.
