Why is killing oneself so damn difficult?

I had a look at my options and literally all of them are either expensive, long, painful. Take SN: I was reading the megathread and you need to have access to a lot of drugs not to throw up, to fall asleep. It takes money, determination and luck to find someone to prescribe them to you.
Sometimes, I get so disheartened they are so difficult that I give up, even though I have legitimate reasons to be wanting to die. All I am left hoping is to die of natural causes.

I guess but still the chances of not succeeding are quite high, and I don't like failures.

It's definitely not easy. This is the closest I've ever been (SN method). Before I would read about methods and every one was too hard. I have everything I need for SN now and it wasn't easy but it definitely wasn't impossible. Now I just have to see if I have the guts to actually do it. That to me is going to be the hardest part. Dying of natural causes sounds lovely. I wish you peace.

I think it depends on a lot of factors, like whether you live alone (I don't), whether you have easy access to SN (I don't) and whether you can access the other drugs like the antiemetics (which would still cost money and time to get).
And then? It's literally a job to find all these things and in the end there's also a chance you might fail.

dying is extremely easy, human life is fragile... the problem comes when you start with the "Peaceful Death" thing

Suicide is very difficult as even know we want to die, all humans are programmed to survive. As well as that, the society denies us the option of euthanasia and peaceful ways to exit so people have to resort to risky methods. I am trapped in this world because of the lack of peaceful and reliable way to exit and the fear of failure. It is all very depressing. I have never wanted to live and it hurts me so much that I have to deal with this life. I have had enough and I do not want anymore days or years.

With SN, its not about whether you throw up or not. You take the drugs to not only make yourself more comfortable but also so your body can take in more SN before you throw it up. If you drink sn and throw up immediately you most likely will have failed. If you drink sn and are able to keep it down long enough, throwing up will not matter.
