  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

I've heard of people dying in the dumbest and most unexpected ways possible yet here we are, doing so much research that might even result in failed attempts.

Maybe it's their bad luck, or our bad luck. But most of the time, those dumb and unexpected ways are accidents, and they have no time for SI, they just get hurt and die. Also just imagine how many accidents like this happen, you just don't hear about them unless people die or get seriously hurt. So overall just a very small percentage of dumb accidents end up killing someone.
While trying to ctb there's a very low chance of having 0 SI, so that messes things up most of the time. I'm sure suicide attempts have a much higher mortality rate than those accidents.
Also, the brain is selfish and always tries to protect itself, even at the expense of great damage to the rest of the body. The brain refuses to die even when getting damaged itself. It doesn't have the 'I'd rather die than live severely disabled' mentality, it just always wants to live.

I understand, it's just so cruel and dreadful to me how it's so difficult to be permanently free from this existence as all I want is to never suffer ever again, I see so much cruelty in how peaceful, guaranteed death is so harmfully denied for me with the suffering and torture of existing seen as to force and prolong no matter what, all I wish for is a death like falling asleep permanently, I always suffer from being trapped in this existence I just never would had chosen.

I sometimes watch videos of people getting killed in accidents, mainly for curiosity. I envy the people who are going about their day as usual and suddenly in an instant they're gone.
