I've talked about it for years with people who know me and I've made good cases for it especially given what I've lived through. I tell them what I've done to get better and how it's failed. But I think they'll say afterwards "I didn't think he'd actually do it. If only he tried harder..."

OCD alone more than doubles a person's chances of doing the deed. Throw in trauma and it's pretty much guaranteed. I'm supposed to just endure all this shit others don't for a full lifetime?

Yeah, people seriously doubt that depressed and suicidal people actually have the guts to ctb. When we finally ctb, they're shocked because of this. They were so inconsiderate regarding the problems we tried to endure so their reaction would obviously be astonishment because they were convinced that things would change despite not knowing anything about what we had to face on a daily basis. They don't even bother trying to help, instead they expect that we can do so by ourselves, which is impossible for most people out there who desperately need help.

I think it may be an aversion to thinking about death in general.
Younger people especially, because many of them of never seen a person die or known anyone of their own age die. It's almost like they can't believe it can even happen, or hospitals and mental health facilities are magic and cure everything.

Because they have been brainwashed into having delusional anti-suicide beliefs and also I just think that many of those people fear death, they struggle to come to terms with the fact that eventually they will die where all they know will be forgotten about and they refuse to accept that suicide is a valid option as it shatters their delusional anti-suicide views.

But anyway it shouldn't matter what other people think, none of us are obligated to continue existing here and not everyone wants to slowly decay from old age just to die anyway, wanting suicide is perfectly logical in this dreadful reality and it's a personal decision when to leave, other people cannot experience existence in the same way so they shouldn't have any say in it.

It's pretty simple in my opinion. The vast majority of people don't give a shit. They don't care. They don't understand why you would feel that way. Most will take you for granted. Generally you are probably a little expendable to them. Well when you enter that long good night they realize you aren't there to exploit any longer. They feel guilty. Because while they never cared enough to walk with you in the journey. They don't feel as good about themselves as they would like. They grieve that for a while until they get over it and move on. Tell themselves things like "it's not my fault".

Also it reminds one about death. It's a taboo subject in modern societies, that's made worse by the stress and lack of fulfillment many have.

Normals? You yourself show discrimination casting us enlightened as abnormal. Our belief systems are different but I don't think of anyone on here is abnormal.
