I understand what wealth is all about. But for a lot of rich people, regardless of how much wealth they accumulate, they will always be slaves to either the government or to their personal debts and excess consumption. And I, despite appearances, am breaking free of the slave mentality that is keeping Americans poor desperate and unhappy. The American conception of wealth is all show. To be a perceived wealthy person you gotta buy the biggest house possible, you gotta have the nicest car possible and wear the nicest clothes and have the nicest jewelry and watches. You gotta send your kids to the most expensive top tier private schools. And you do that not because it makes you happy but because it signals wealth. Because that is the American way. The American conception of wealth is consumption and thats by design. It's called corporate propaganda. What you notice is, you see all these rich people like Bill Ackman, he's a billionaire hedge fund manager, you see him on X, gargling Trump's nuts. Because Trump reduced tariffs and that served Bill Ackman's interests especially because of his investment in Nike. Is this guy really wealthy? If you were truly wealthy, if you were trulyfree then you would answer to no man, you would gargle no man's nuts. But a supposed billionaire, Bill Ackman, is basically simping for Trump on X and showing that he is a brokey and a slave because he's owned by another man. Another man controls him. Another man is guiding his life. Is that wealth? I don't think it is personally.
If everyone lost all their income, who would collapse first and declare bankruptcy first? People like influencers these hyper-consumerist rotten Americans because the more wealth that they have accrued, the more money that they make, the more they spend. Enslaved themselves to the loans that they are required to pay. So in effect, while they have this huge income, they are growing their lifestyles commensurate with their growth in income. They will never be wealthy and they will never feel secure and free. Because they're keeping the stress and pressure on themselves. They live these luxurious lifestyles but they're not free because if they ever lost their income they would be done and collapse in months because they have levered themselves to the hilt.
I don't need much to be happy because I don't have that brainwashed American mindset which is a cancer enslaving Americans. Corporations are propitiating this and large cap tech especially Google and Meta enable it. They are there to shove ads in your face and make you want to consume and consume. The heart of America is consumption, it is our economy. How it works is, it makes you a slave no matter how much money you make. You're pushed by corporate propaganda to spend and spend. Enslave yourself with debt. Bigger house, bigger house, bigger car. True freedom to aspire to is you can say whatever you want to say because you are beholden to no man. Aspiring to buy expensive cars and big houses is aspiring to slavery. True freedom is being able to say whatever the hell you want whenever you want to whoever you want. Somebody pisses you off at work, walk out. Your boss is a dick, walk out, new job, don't care, got enough money to survive for years. That's freedom. (Almost) nobody can do that. The richest people you think are rich, are slaves to their clients, they're slaves to their debts. Thats America. You need to break free of the American mindset. It's corrupt and disgusting and enslaves you, you will never be free. Corporate profits, bro. Idk maybe I'm just a communist
