That is an easy question for me due to my nationality.

The worst was Hitler. The second worst probably Himmler. The third worst was Goebbels. This is at least my list. It is not necessarily objectively true.

All of them were very very sick bastards who would deserve hell forever.
I am more interested to learn about horrible politicians in your country.
I don't know many from other countries except Russia. In schools in Germany we talk a lot about the Nazi crimes. I think this is important so that they won't repeat. But I think there is no guaranty for that.

OK I'll play. I'm from Canada, so we have it good by comparison. I would not nominate anybody in my country, it would be highly insulting and dismissive of the damage the other true monsters elsewhere in the world have inflicted.
If I could pick from anywhere in the world:
Agree with you @noname223. 100%
Next would be the P, without a doubt.

Our politicians are terrible at what they do, but for the most part there is absolutely no comparison to the two I mentioned above.

Any US president after the Kennedys. All found the war machine lucrative, all lied to the people who put them in power. All created misery for the millions in small nations that had proxy wars foisted upon them. Most Western countries shackled to neo-liberal economics have cardboard cut-outs of the master running the show.

probably Thomas Jefferson or Woodrow Wilson~ Not inherently because of what they were (like Himmler~ xD) but because of the ultimate consequences of their actions (Thomas Jefferson's famous quote on "the wall of separation" and Woodrow Wilson's entry into WW1 on the side of the Allies)~ :(

As a UK citizen, without a shadow of a doubt Margaret Thatcher, tho way before my time, she privatised whole industries, caused so much havoc for the working man, and is as despised as she is adored, cant say I was sad very much when she passed away, iron lady indeed, the damage she caused is still being felt in some sectors of British society, a very putrid woman.

Wait why do you think the US shouldn't have gotten involved in WW1?

I was just talking about this with another SaSu member yesterday! xD If the Central Powers won, the Nazis wouldn't have came to power, and the world would overall have been better~
Serbia (and hence, the Allies) started the whole war in the first place. Plus, Germany was already one of the most progressive nations at the time, with their conservative government actually being willing to compromise with socialists in regards to labor practices~ I can rant about this for hours! lol

Hmm, interesting take! Yeah, that's true…oh wow, the Weimar Republic, right? It's so interesting to think about the "what-if's" in history and what could have been

I very much remember her time and she was every bit as terrible as you say.

No. I believe the US should've directly landed on Hamburg and spearheaded to Berlin, in fact, instead of simply supporting the Entente/Allies in the trenches.
Please read: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rape_of_Belgium https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/U-boat_campaign https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Raid_on_Scarborough,_Hartlepool_and_Whitby https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Herero_and_Namaqua_genocide.

Please DO NOT believe the person's take. It's ignorant to all of the war crimes the Germans committed during WW1 and supporting a variant of the myth of the clean Wehrmacht.

Canadian here, probably John A. MacDonald. Here's one of many quotes from him about his views on the indigenous people.

"I have not hesitated to tell this House, again and again, that we could not always hope to maintain peace with the Indians; that the savage was still a savage, and that until he ceased to be savage, we were always in danger of a collision, in danger of war, in danger of an outbreak"

Edited to add this quote as well.

"When the school is on the reserve the child lived with its parents, who are savages; he is surrounded by savages, and though he may learn to read and write his habits, and training and mode of thought are Indian. He is simply a savage who can read and write"

Disgusting!
Right up there with Trump's statements on veterans, immigrants and women.
