who is Stan?

Hello everyone! I've only been here for a couple of weeks but you're all so kind and helpful. I've read a lot about Stan and I'm wondering who they are/were? Much love to everyone x

@Jean4 might be better equipped to answer. From my perspective Stan was one of the most helpful members on this forum. He provided lots of helpful info regarding a few methods mostly SN. He had a great sense of humor and even released his own guide to SN which helped many members. He found his peace this december but this forum will not forget his contributions

He was a pioneer of the sodium nitrite (SN) method. He wrote a clear, concise, and helpful guide on it.

Never got to talk to him and I don't know why he decided to exit but it seemed like he dedicated alot of time to the forum.

It's a valid question since the person is new. I only know of Stan from reading last posts n understands he was a very kind,caring, n amazing part of SS, who I wish I had the pleasure of speaking with..
No need to b upset.I think he/she just isn't sure if Stan was a male or female, so they just said "they", as I just did since I don't know if poster is male or female either..don't think there was any disrespect meant..

Thanks Issi. I'm going to sit back here and just watch. This is making me cry, but in a good way. Newbies are asking about him and he is remembered

I hope my comment wasn't spooky, I was just joking (and showing reverence!)

Although I haven't talked to him , Stan was a dear person that had touched and helped many , with his wits and dark humour , research and attention to details , and his playful expressive way . He wrote and spoke a lot here . He may not have been perfect -- but he was more than perfect for us .

Hello and thank you all for your replies, Stan sounded like a fantastic person who contributed a lot to this site. I really feel like I've stumbled across a real community here and Stan's names keeps popping up so I just wanted to know a bit more about them. Everyone is so kind. For whatever reasons we all come here because we're all looking to CTB and your real advice and help is so much of a comfort to us all. Thank you so much, hugs to all x

Stan was many things to many people. Smart, a pioneer, kind, compassionate, funny, to me he was a friend. He was there for me the last time I almost CTB.

It hasn't been the same without him and BPD_LE. I miss them both alot, I'm constantly reminded of and grateful for the time I spent with them.
