I sustained an injury and developed a terrible condition known as complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS-1), also known as "the suicide disease". Prior to this, I already had bipolar 1, delayed sleep phase syndrome, another physical thing, job issues, financial stress...
Yeah I have read about CRPS, that sounds particuarly nasty. I'm really sorry to hear you've got that.
Suicide disease is used for trigeminal neuralgia as well, another nerve pain problem. They can't do much about most nerve pain basically. That's what I have. I get neuropathic pain in many places without a clear cause, not curable, does not respond well to drugs or anything I tried for 5 years now.
