Elliot Rodgers, Theodore Kaczynski

All of them remind me of that life is inherently pointless(among other reasons, Ted is particularly interesting but I won't go further into that because I think the feds are active on this site). There is no reason to suffer, no higher purpose. No God. Just meaningless. We'll all end up in the great nothingness called death.

It has it's kind of beauty of me. To be part of absolutely nothing. To be part of 99% of the life that has been here before me. 99% species that have ever existed are extinct. Can you imagine what it will be like when the heat death of the universe sets in? Eternal peace. No more pointless suffering, no more endless debates, no more. To be part of an endless void of eternal nothingness. This is what I desire.
Elliot Rodgers was cringe. His videos and manuscript were pretentious.

They're trying to get the high score. It was dangerous for scientists to proclaim that we live in a simulation.

I don't think people who kill others for pleasure (not for a good reason, e.g self defense with no other way out) should be glamorized. Their crimes are heinous and atrocious.

No that's an observation of school shootings. They each try and one up each other because life is just a video game
I didn't say school shootings don't assume

Perhaps this should also be retitled to include "spree shooter" or "mass murderer".
That thing over there in Vegas last year. Awful. But damn there was a lot of media coverage even around here. And this isn't even America! Maybe it was a slow news day here.
Anyways. Lot of crazy people do crazy things.
Nothing new to me anymore.
That's why I don't bother with any news source much anymore or even alternative ones.
Everything is boring, so why do I need to know? Ha!

I watch a lot of the shows on the crime channels.

But I hate people who hurt others.

Guess what I'm saying is, it's interesting to know but that doesn't mean I support anything those people do.

I think I'm drawn to how people can commit those crimes and what is the thought process behind that.

Israel Keyes.
Same! He was so methodical but fortunately only got caught because of his blood thirstiness. He buried kill kits, travelled extensively and robbed banks. He placed so many demands upon crime agencies before his suicide as well.

I'm currently reading a book about John Wayne Gacy so I choose him.
Gacy was doing construction work on a strip mall in my hometown back in the 70's. I heard people talking about him when I was young. I sometimes wonder if a person like him who was obviously homosexual would have been a murderer in today's world. It's all accepted now. Well except for the murder part.

True crime is kind of voyeuristic... I do wonder to what degree killers in the mould of Richard Chase ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Richard_Chase ) inspired mythological monsters like vampires and ghouls in past ages.
