Where would be the best place to die?

I really don't want to subject my family to discovering my body. Neither do I want to completely disappear, that would prevent them from getting closure. I don't want a random stranger to be traumatized by seeing it either. Does anyone have any ideas on how to ensure that EMS/Police are the first ones to discover my body.

Could be in a hotel and programming a message/email to the police, informing them of what you've done and your passing

Personally, at home, in a secluded spot, leaving a note on the door asking them to call the police and for no one else to come in, I will lock the door too.

I'm not sure about the laws in hotels. Whether the family has to pay for cleaning or other services, etc., in case you commit suicide in a rented room..

All unnatural deaths are investigated and identified.

For me, at my family home...with a note on the closed door explaining what is going on....
Its a special place for me....and being found in a public place, just seems odd. This is just my situation.
I want my family to find me, since I trust them more than anyone else.
It will give them extreme hurt and sadness...and I feel guilt for that.....but it needs to be this way.
The rest of the world is an awful horrible place....my family home is where multi-generational lived in.....
Where my parent lives & grew up, grandparents lived & even ggrandmother lived...So it is special to me & I feel I have a connection to them all.

I agree and it might take the police more time to find you.

I would like to ctb at home, but I live with roommates in my halfway house.

I feel bad, leaving my body for my roommates to find.
