when you're not brooding on SS, what are you doing with your time?

I guess I'm what ppl would call a NEET(haven't had a job going on 4mths now). I live in a house with 3 strangers(I am the easiest housemate, you'll never see me), when they all go off to work I'll sneak out of my room to grab some food from the kitchen then scurry back to my tomb. I probably spend about 90% of the day staring at screens, doing nothing, thinking about how awful everything is..

What's an average day like for you?

Gym, college and fitness. Really working on selfcare. I'm also about to start growing mushrooms to try microdosing as well. Video games here and there, currently enjoying black desert online

This pretty much describes me and using the word tomb sets a perfectly accurate tone for my existence as well. Sometimes i get up to 'start the day' (which in my case rarely lasts more than 6 hours) and have coffee with my pills while listening to a radio station or podcast and maybe stuffing my face with sugar and lard to suffocate my thoughts. If i slept okay i might read for a few hours instead of just playing video games or watching tv or netflix and if i haven't done it in a while i'll consider showering and maybe making some sort of evening meal. after that i shovel more pills down my throat and return from the couch to the bed.

School and work, work and school. Maybe listen to some music, browse the same 5 websites, or watch YouTube in between all that. Rinse & repeat.

when school's out I like to draw, do crafts, play casual video games. Sometimes I'll study math or other things related to my major too. But no school means more work, so I don't do those things that often. I wish I had more time and energy to devote to my hobbies but those are privileges that only money can buy.

Me too, although now I get most things delivered directly to my home. I am almost at the hikikomori level except that I'm forced to go to the pharmacy and the medical doctor, which happens about once a month.

I would do that but it wouldn't make sense for me(shared living, limited fridge/cupboard space) and theres no point paying 5 pounds delivery charge for 20 pounds worth of groceries
I used to go to the pharmacy once a month too.. ADs right? Gave up on that shit since they were just making me more tired and that's it..i dunno maybe I should be on something though

sometimes i prefer to be outside at night for that reason. you can appreciate the beauty of a neighborhood or some decent architecture because you don't have to worry about other humans spoiling the experence.

I'm NEET for about 6 months and I do exactly the same. I am living with my father after I was kicked out of my family house. I can't even play games to distract myself as I couldn't take my computer. Instead I'm using my father's low-end machine and many games simply cannot run. I can't afford anything else. I mainly surf the internet and listen to music. Every day is exactly the same. During summer I was employed by steel mill but I have lost this job due to coronavirus crisis.

Then I spend an excessive amount of time thinking over and over about things I should be doing, and then I realize it's been a lot of hours and I haven't done anything at all yet.

Then I stress about it more, and often I find myself waking up from a nap or 10 I didn't know I took and realize I've basically slept or stared at the wall ruminating most of the day and I should eat something.

So then I try to motivate myself to figure out food but suddenly it's been several more hours and I'm going to puke because I waited too long to eat, so I do whatever, do cat stuff, and go back to bed sick.

But then the nightmares hit, so I stream weird youtube videos and doze off randomly throughout. I often judge the passage of time by how many videos have autoplayed that I don't remember.

In between it all, I'm here or just mindlessly internet browsing. I often have to ask Alexa if it's AM or PM because looking outside doesn't tell much. Pathetic.

I get you, GTA games are a great distraction. Currently I'm going through the main story of GTA Sa for a 10th or 11th time and I still have as much fun as 1st time.
