I was convinced that I had felt grief for the first time. For the first time i had been experiencing loss. And while that truth remains evident, it couldn't be further from the truth. With time i realized neither of us died, and i received a worse fate.
While you've received a new lease on life, and a revival of perspective, I've been cursed with life and time.
I can't figure out how to kill myself.
I've been granted immortality and forced to watch the universe slowly die, and disappear into the void. The only fate worse than death, I have to watch you live life freely. And as happy as I am for you, I have been put back into the days since before we met. Lonely, scared, and hopeless.
Void.
