Venting When my partner threatened to leave me I thought that maybe I can recover

My partner of 9 years then DID leave me. I thought, okay, I can recover after a few weeks, based on reports and movies showing that the person left can recover and heal. But I was wrong. 8 months later I am just as distraught and shocked and lost as before. At this point I don't think suicidal ideation will disappear in my life ever, neither will binge drinking episodes. I'm lost and just want to sleep forever... until the resurrection on judgment day.
