If you want to CTB please take it upon yourself to learn everything you need to know, this site has a wealth of information on SN neatly organized and archived that you can access through the resource compilation sticky, and the search bar. I don't mean to rag on people asking questions, just that I see lots of threads with these questions that have been thoroughly answered in the resource stickies.

15-20 minutes and you care no more... That is the time required to pass out. After this you must have a good time-span just in case.

It differs per person. If you use the search function you can find and read entire 'researches'. Read in carefully first. Don't make a hasty decision.

Thanks. I've read conflicting reports, some say it takes 12 mins others 1 hour. I wanted to clear that up.

The more closely you follow the guide in the resources section the faster it will be to pass out. If it takes an hour to go unconscious then probably the person did not take enough.

Depends on your body and health, could be 20 min. to lose consciousness.

Can you describe what it felt like? Any pain or discomfort? Were you found or did you call for ambulance?

I called my brother for help after seeing my pale and blue reflection in the mirror. I experienced extreme anxiety due to my blood not having any oxygen so my heart was pumping extra hard and fast to try and find oxygen - my heart rate was at 200 bpm in the ambulance so I had chest pains, anxiety and also bad nausea. Everyone is different though. I mainly felt scared and discomfort. I almost died but it didn't feel like I was dying.

Do you think propanolol would have helped with the heart rate and anxiety?

Glad you are OK but pardon my ignorance, if you didn't want to die, why take it?

I think Survival Instinct kicked in and possessed him completely, fully replacing urge to die in that moment.

I did want to die, SI was strong and my heart rate was at 200bpm so I felt huge anxiety and I have a fear of death. It was something I felt like I had to do, I tried to talk myself out of not calling for help because I wanted to do it, I was just scared, I knew I had to do it but the fear became too much. SN has a huge build up, fasting for a long time, making the drink and taking it when it tastes awful.

Just because someone calls for help it doesn't mean they did not want to die. Survival instinct is very strong and it's hard to carry out.

I was put on 100% oxygen, methanyl blue IV drip, drank charcoal, 24 hour saline drip and put in HDU/resuss for constant monitoring over a 24 hour period.

10 minutes I guess based on amount, body size, stomach contents etc... once you're out you'll want like 3-4 hours undisturbed at a minimum.
