According to this finger gadget my PRbpm is 73 at its lowest and 93 at its highest sitting down. I think my anxiety is literally killing me, and now it can be proven scientifically, lol.

My anxiety has been extremely high for years now. My sitting heart rate swings between 75 and 85.

OK peeps, let's make this the anxiety-recovering thread. I pledge to try meditation at least 15 minutes every day starting now.

What have you gals and guys tried so far? What are the side-effects of drugs and do they really help enough to put up with them?

Around 60 bpm. It dropped slightly when I started taking propranolol every night for migraines, about a year ago. Gets a little higher when under stress or abusing drugs.

My main physical anxiety symptoms are muscle tension and teeth grinding. I take magnesium for that every night. I was really tense last night before bed, so much so that my muscles are sore the next morning.

Paying too much attention to your heart rate can make you feel more anxious...

I feel like if you had a truly western heart, your BPM would be significantly higher/unhealthier. Mine is about the same though. But I have orthostatic hypotension so it jumps as soon as I stand up.

When they measure my heart rate with those home machines it's always yellowish red for blood pressure and heart rate also fast. But I do during a lot of espressos.

My resting heart rate is good, but I'm not healthy. If I go for a 30 minute walk in the cold I'll feel out of breath and my watch will tell me I have low cardio fitness :(

I have a tachycardia issue because of a genetic heart problem, so even when resting my heart rate will go from 70~ to 150 at random. My blood pressure remains really low though, sometimes as little as 80/60 especially in the morning.

Same. I'm working on this because I know my mental health is damaging my body.

I'm starting weight training and stretches to increase fitness. I think stretching is good for the heart. I have a med appointment tonight with a psychiatrist because my personal will and cbd gunmies are no longer enough for my issues.

I pledge to try meditation at least 15 minutes every day starting now.
I'd argue good nights of sleep plus vigorous physical exercise works better than meditation.
and a good diet. making sure you're getting all the B-vitamins from real food, vitamin D from the sunlight and maybe consider supplementing magnesium.

Lucky.

The thing with me is that I have a rare genetic mutation that makes caffeine stay longer in my orgasnism so when I have more than 1/5 of a mug of coffee I get pretty damn anxious, however, I also sleep so badly that I feel spaced out and hungover during the day, so I take coffee.

It's either the lack of rest, or the coffee, or both that explain my sitting heart rate.

My mom was the same way. She could drink a whole pot of coffee in the evening and go to bed an hour later and sleep like a baby. Freaking crazy.
Mine is anywhere from 65-85 depending on my anxiety.

It's weird my anxiety doesn't affect my heart rate. It impacts me many ways but not that. Even since I have stopped working out and exercising for five or six months, my resting bpm is still so low.

It must've been the coffee, now I am around 67. I shouldn't take coffee ever.

I'm sure it must be around 80 when among people though. Social anxiety is extremely stressful.

I'm at 89 bpm & BP is 145/95
I take two pills for BP everyday. I'm so high strung my BP is through the roof. My BP was normal till I started my current job in 2014.
I've been chilling on the couch for an hour now and my numbers are high.
Very bad. Anything above 70 is unhealthy.
Who get to decide the "good" range?

I told my Doctor my heart just revs high like a 2 stroke engine. He gave me that, you're a dumb ass look and upped the dosage of me BP meds.
