I eat snack type stuff. Carrots and hummus, crackers, almonds, fruit, cheese. Stuff like that.

I only eat once a day. I just buy like a ready made sub and a bag of chips or something. I don't cook.

1. OWYN protein or meal replacement shakes. Consume straight from the bottle.
2. Noosa yogurt (any larger single serving yogurt will do) w/ granola.
3. Grilled cheese with pickles on the side. If feeling fancy, add raspberry jam and use gouda cheese.

Batch cook / slow cook meals when you feel like you're able to function and freeze them. Then all you have to do is stick in in a microwave to get a good meal.

Everything I eat I make in under 20 minutes. Usually high heat. I cook eggs or instant ramen. Or sometimes ground turkey. Make a bowl of salad with cheese on top. Microwave popcorn. Or I cook some carrots or cauliflower in olive oil. Some days I also just eat protein bars and don't get out of bed. Also, canned foods are excellent for when you want to make food quick. I take a can of corn, add some seasoning, microwave for a minute, and it's delicious.

Also, everything I cook I spice with chili powder or pepper.

This is one of the main reasons why I want to die. Earning money for food and cooking food to survive is excruciating in every sense.

Thick slices of multi-seed wholemeal bread toasted then spread with Vitalite marge and crunchy peanut butter. Plus a mug of Barleycup coffee substitute.

Saying that it's six pm here and I've eaten nothing all day.

Humans! :smiling:

Jokes aside, I usually go with a kebab plate or pizza, or some frozen food from the convenience store - or home made egg toast, if I have some energy left.

Mac and cheese cups or even though it physically hurts to bring myself to use the oven, anything that can just be plopped in there for a couple minutes because at least you don't have to stand there & actively cook it ya know.

Frozen dumplings and potstickers are my favorite. It takes about a minute and a half, good flavors, don't feel like I'm just eating total junk. The sauces are nice too.

Toasties (toasted sandwiches) (aka Jaffles to some Aussies). You can get toastie maker.

I can put any ingredients on them with cheese or you can make sweet, dessert type toasties. I have, many a time, made pizza toasties. 1 teaspoon of tomato sauce or BBQ sauce (ketchup) if you're on tight budget; pasta sauce in a jar if your budget allows. I add a sprinkle of dried, mixed herbs. A slice of meat per toastie and cheese. Omit the meat if vegetarian or budget is too tight for that.

If your budget is a little bigger, you can add your usual fav pizza ingredients. Tomato slices, olives, fancy cheese, pepperoni, garlic, etc. You can use nicer bread if your budget allows. Doesn't take too long to make and it fills a hole in the tummy.

Other than that, Ramen noodles. I also put grated cheese on my ramen. A woman, back in the 90s, put a handful grated cheese on my ramen. I drain the liquid after cooking, put the cheese on, stir in the cheese whilst still hot. I've been hooked ever since. I buy those pre packaged bags of spinach leaves or similar. I add a handful of vege to the ramen to cook. I feel like I'm getting something healthy in my diet, even if it is instant ramen. Doesn't take too long to cook.

Other than that, baked beans on toast.

Exactly this for me as well. The OWYN shakes, or Ensure. Greek yogurt w/granola or Kashi crunch (high protein) cereal and either raisins or dried cranberries as well. Also canned soup and toast. Sometimes, just toast and tea (or an Ensure).
